We present to potential customers portable oscilloscopes with basic functionality "5 in 1" of the Metrix trademark which belongs to the CHAUVIN ARNOUX Company (France).

OX9000 series consists of 5 models: OX9062, OX9102, OX9104, OX9302-BUS, OX9304 (SCOPIX IV series). The models differ in the number of input channels (2 or 4), bandwidth (60 / 100 / 300 MHz) and functionality. These devices are designed to analyze shape, measure amplitude and time parameters of electrical signals, DC and AC voltage (DC, AC, AC + DC), electrical power and direct / alternative current (with current sensor options), and also resistance, capacitance, frequency, temperature (with temperature sensor option).

Oscilloscopes "5 in 1" of the SCOPIX IV series can work in the following modes: oscilloscope, multimeter, data logger, harmonic analyzer, watt meter.

These Metrix oscilloscopes have large touch color LCD displays and are equipped with USB, WI-FI, and Ethernet interfaces for communication with external devices. For the purpose of data storage the built-in memory of 1 GB and also support of SD-cards from 2 GB to 2 TB is provided.

OX9302-BUS model additionally has the functionality to measure and analyze data interfaces used in vehicles (cars), communications, electrical devices, industry, lighting control systems etc. (AS-I, DALI, CAN, LIN, KNX, Ethernet, FLEXRAY, ProfiBus, RS232 / 485, USB buses).

OSCILLOGRAPH mode

Visual observation, memorization in the digital form, automatic or cursor measurements of amplitude and time parameters (19 types) are provided. Each of the oscilloscope channels performs independent digital processing and storage of signals.

Following functions are implemented: auto-tuning for capturing waveforms, auto and cursor measurements, tolerance control, mathematical operations, including FFT and a set of standard mathematics functions (5 operations). Up to 100 oscillograms can be written into internal memory.

MULTIMETER mode

Enables measurement of DC and TrueRMS AC voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, diode testing and "ring" function (10 ms). External sensors in the form of thermocouples (K) or thermoresistors (PT100) are used to measure temperatures. For current and power measurements in single-phase and three-phase networks current probe options are provided.

REGISTER mode

Data can be collected for 20,000 s with a sampling interval of 0.2 s. It is possible to set thresholds and ranges of acceptable values, perform long-term recording of the observed process (100,000 samples) as well as automatic recording of anomalies and their duration. Any data (events or breakdowns) is automatically stored in the device memory or on an FTP server via the management interface.

Harmonic ANALYZER mode

Devices display harmonic components of the signal (up to 63 harmonics). Measurement results are indicated in the linear spectrum form with reflection in the state field of RMS values of voltage and % TDH harmonic factor. For each selected harmonic its percentage level, phase relative to the fundamental harmonic, frequency and voltage amplitude (RMS value) are shown.

SCOPIX IV features an benefits

Oscilloscopes of the SCOPIX IV series implement the ProbiX ™ "plug and play" algorithm – system installation of hardware accessories and sensors, which provides support for different types of probes (voltage, current, temperature, pyrometer, tachometer) with a unified output of "0… 10 V", "4… 20 mA".

Portable SCOPIX IV devices can be considered as a replacement option for Fluke 190-204 / Fluke 190-202 (200 MHz), FLUKE 190-104 / FLUKE 190-102 (100 MHz) oscilloscopes, as well as adequate analogues for R&S RTH1002 series, which to provide similar functionality must be provided with additional MSO RTH-B102: 1630 / BATT LI-ON HA2302: 340 / DECODE + TRG K102: 1270 / WIFI K2002: 430 options.

The principal and main difference between the SCOPIX IV series of oscilloscopes and its competitors is the fact that these Metrix oscilloscopes have a 12-bit ADC resolution. This makes it possible to obtain 16 times higher vertical resolution in comparison to oscilloscopes with 8-bit ADC.
