MEAN WELL power supplies DRC-40, DRC-60, DRC-100 have proven themselves well in the market of security systems and are widely used in security systems, fire safety, emergency lighting, access control systems, etc. To expand the scope of application, MEAN WELL started serial production of a new 180 W series - DRC-180. They are suitable for installation on TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15 DIN rails. A wide input voltage range of 90~264V AC and two models with 13.8V DC and 27.6V DC output make them appropriate for most applications. At the output, the security power supply unit has 2 channels: the main one (CH1) for powering the equipment and an additional one (CH2) that can charge the battery at the same time. In addition, they have an AC OK indicator, a low battery alarm and together with an external battery can form a DC-UPS system.
