The PICMG1.0 standard became widespread in the world in the early 2000s due to the compatibility of products from different manufacturers and support for ISA and PCI buses. At the moment, the PICMG1.0 has been replaced by the new PICMG1.3 standard, which no longer has an ISA bus. However, PICMG1.0 boards have remained in demand for use in older projects, in systems where ISA modules are installed. As you know, the development of expansion boards for this bus is simple, and the boards are easy to manufacture and high-tech. Following the world trends, Advantech mainly switched to the production of single-board slot computers PICMG1.3, until recently in the standard PICMG1.0 produced PCA-6011 for Intel Core2 processors and PCA-6028 for 4th generation Intel Core processors. Now they have been replaced by the new flagship PICMG1.0 line PCA-6029 slot computer for 6th and 7th generation Intel Core processors. List of supported processors:
