The next development of SEA Company is a new time countdown board with an RS-485 interface, intended for integration into the yellow section of traffic lights. This development has passed testing and been launched into mass production. Both countdown board modules and fully integrated traffic light with countdown timer are already available for order.
Traffic countdown timer (TCT) produced by SEA Company complies with the current standards DSTU 4092:202x (State Standards of Ukraine), En 12368, and the technical specifications for the product.
The information displayed by the traffic countdown timer depending on the traffic light signals:
- at a red traffic light, the TCT module displays red numbers (or a red horizontal line in each segment of the scoreboard, depending on the operating mode);
- after a yellow traffic light signal, the product displays a yellow traffic light signal;
- at a green traffic light, the TCT module displays green numbers (or a green horizontal bar in each segment of the scoreboard, depending on the operating mode).
TCT module features automatic brightness adjustment of its red and green LEDs, depending on the street lighting (brighter during the day, dimmer at night). This function can be turned on or off by a command in service mode. During operation, the integrated SEA Company's countdown traffic light board ensures round-the-clock operation without the need for additional maintenance.
