Phoenix Contact's line of unmanaged budget switches FL SWITCH 1000 is complemented by options with fiber-optic interfaces. These switches have narrow bodies, denser ports and prioritization of data exchange for automation protocols.
Seven new models include both Fast Ethernet and Gigabit versions. Some devices are equipped with SFP ports, which expand the possibilities of application depending on the requests, type of connection and distance. With the help of special fasteners, Phoenix Contact unmanaged switches of the FL SWITCH 1000 series can be installed in a parallel plane of the mounting rail, which allows them to be used in small or flat cabinets with a small amount of space.
Thanks to Energy Efficient Ethernet, new switches for automation applications generate less current, so they do not require much free space during installation and do not generate much excess heat when used.
