MEAN WELL is a world leader in the production of standard power supplies meeting the needs for powerful industrial power supplies, launched series production of three-phase four-wire AC/DC converters RST-7K5 (7500 W) and RST-15K (15,000 W) that can be turned on in parallel to achieve a total power of up to 30 kW.
The novelties have three models with an output voltage of 115 V, 230 V and 380 V, which are suitable for various industries, such as automatic industrial equipment, energy storage systems, etc. In addition, the output voltage and current are programmable. the output voltage can be set between 1% and 120% in particular. There are also built-in signals for monitoring such as DC-OK, overheating, fan failure or input power loss alarms. Since these ac dc power supplies will often be used in harsh industrial environments, their operating temperature range is -30°C … +45°C under full load conditions. Buyers will also be able to choose between two cooling options: forced cooling with built-in fans (RST-7K5/15K) or water cooling (RST-7K5L).
In addition to the advantages described above, the Mean Well RST 7K5 and Mean Well RST 15K series meet the latest version of the international safety standard EN/UL62368-1, and thanks to their compact form factor (<2U), they can be installed in a standard 19-inch rack. All this makes them an excellent choice for high-power industrial equipment.
