SEA Company’s specialists completed the implementation of the 1st stage of the joint large-scale project of the Ternopil City Council and the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO) called "Reconstruction of the Ternopil outdoor lighting system ‘Light without mercury’". As part of the initiative, old lamps with mercury bulbs were replaced with modern energy-efficient LED lighting solutions on about 50 streets in Ternopil.
In addition, municipal enterprises of the city have installed new electrical poles and modern control cabinets for the lighting system, which will also reduce electricity consumption, as well as replaced almost 50 000 m of cable with new aerial bundled conductors (ABC). In total, more than 1 700 light points were renovated on the streets of Ternopil.

The possibility of performing additional works on two dozen streets is also being considered, and that would result in another 900 new LED lamps of domestic production.
